Process

Whilst every project is unique, there are a set of stages that need to be completed before construction can start. Our role in these stages will determine the success of your project and how we achieve your goals. You may never have lifted a brick or may be a hardend developer, our role is the same, to lead you through the design process allowing you to get the most out of your property.

 1 | Feasibility Report.

If you have a project in mind and aren't sure the best way to move forward, a feasibility report is what you might be looking for. Depending on the size scale and scope of the project, this could range from a short site meeting and conversation to a complete review of current planning legislation and surrounding neighborhood. The aim of this stage is to develop your project brief, assess the opportunities & constraints of the land/building, assess the development potential of the land/building, explore your design options, create a planning strategy and help you understand the process for realising your project.

2 | Planning

Planning permission is required for all new construction in the U.K. During this stage we will outline the design in more detail and understand what will and will not be allowed by the planners. Once the design has been finalised we will produce a full set of digital drawings, reports and 3d visulaisations to show the council why we think the proposal is appropriateThe application will then be designed and monitored by us until a the council have made a decision.

3 | Building Control

Construction work carried out should meeting current building control regulations and requirements. Building Regulations set standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure the health and safety for people in or around those buildings. They also include requirements to ensure that fuel and power is conserved and that facilities are provided for people, including those with disabilities, to access and move around inside buildings.
